The discipline is taught to applicants for higher education at the "bachelor" level of all specialties of the Faculty of Management and Business and is dedicated to highlighting the theoretical and methodological foundations, methodological provisions of the organization of financial, monetary and credit processes of the state and modern society.
The goal is to form in students modern economic thinking and a system of knowledge regarding the general patterns of development of modern financial and monetary relations of society.
The main tasks of studying the discipline:
- providing future specialists with knowledge about the essence and functions of the categories "finance", "money", "credit", the content of the basic theories of money, the concepts of money circulation, monetary and financial markets, monetary and currency systems, the basics of credit, settlement, currency, tax and budget relations;
- forming a theoretical base regarding monetary and credit and financial instruments;
- mastering the practice of using monetary and financial instruments in business and in the system of regulation of the economy of Ukraine.
