Summary of the course
The goal is to a system of theoretical and practical knowledge of students on the use of computer-integrated technologies to solve professional problems in the development, design and management of database systems.
Subject: a pedagogically adapted system of concepts about the principles and means of storing, searching and processing information in the structure of modern computer-integrated management systems at road construction enterprises.
The main objectives of the discipline are to develop theoretical and practical skills of working with relational databases, to learn to work with database management systems (DBMS), to master the technologies of performing calculations and issuing queries both in MS Access and by working with SQL data.
Prerequisites for the educational component: the course requires systematic and thorough knowledge of the disciplines Fundamentals of Information Technology, Algorithmisation and Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, as well as focused work on the study of specialised literature. active work in lectures and practical classes.
