The course is intended to obtain the necessary knowledge of the laws that characterize the physical and mechanical state of soils as dispersed materials. It also considers modern solutions for road construction in the construction of subgrade, calculations of foundations of building structures, determination of strength, stability, prediction of deformations and rational use of the bearing capacity of soils as foundations and as a road-building material.
