Philosophy is an academic course designed to develop students’ holistic worldview, critical thinking, and ability to reflect on the scientific, ethical, and social dimensions of modern technology. The course introduces the main stages of philosophical thought, key ideas of prominent thinkers, and explores philosophical issues related to science, technology, and the engineer’s responsibility to society. Special attention is given to the ethics of technology, environmental challenges, and the humanistic aspects of professional practice.
